Child Dedication Registration

At High Point Church, we believe that the church has been called to come alongside parents as they disciple their children. What we do is called a Child Dedication. Parents promise to raise their children to know Jesus Christ and the church promises to pray for, love, and support the family in hopes that the child will come to know Jesus Christ as their savior at an early age.

This ceremony includes a prayer that the parents pray in front of the congregation promising, to the best of their ability, to raise their child to follow Jesus. As a congregation, we will affirm and note the promises the parents make so that we can be a supportive church family for them as they raise their child.

Parents must attend a class before dedicating their child that goes over what dedications are/are not, information about what it means to dedicate your child, tips for how to disciple your child, and logistics for the ceremony.

Note: Your child must have a profile set up in Church Center to be able to be registered. (You can add them to your household.)
