Online Giving, Calendar, Signups, and Small Groups are now in Planning Center
Why are we moving to Planning Center Online from the Hub?
- We want to make it easier for church members and attenders to interact with our Church Management software
- We want to make it easier to communicate and coordinate what is going on at HPC
Giving
We need you to help move online giving to PCO Giving! We are asking regular attenders with online giving at HPC to do the following:
- Turn off your recurring giving in Vanco (existing online giving system)
- Set up your recurring giving in Church Center (new giving system)
- Update your profile in Church Center to include your contact information and household members
Calendar
The entire church calendar has moved to planning center. You can now open the calendar tab in your Church Center app and review all of the open events at High Point Church. Some private events will be hidden from the public calendar, like your small group meetings. If you would normally schedule events for a ministry in the HUB and have not yet received the new events form, we can send you the link and train you on it as needed.
Small Groups
All small groups should be in Church Center now. If your small group hasn't been set up yet, email MWilkins@highpointchurch.org. Small Groups will be shut down in the HUB soon.
What's Next?
We are slowly working our way through ministries that use the HUB for email communication and coordination. If you routinely schedule events or use the mail merge functionality in the HUB, you can expect an email from the PCO team soon explaining how to set up those tools in Planning Center or Church Center.
Committees, Student Ministry, and Kids Ministry will require more focused effort. If you serve or participate in one of these spaces you can expect to receive the relevant training from ministry leaders over the next two to three months.
